My Values

My character is built on 4 core values which guide me through life:

  1. Prudence
  2. Justice
  3. Temperance
  4. Fortitude

These values have been demonstrated during my career through sound decision making, honesty, ambition and resilience.

Prudence

I let prudence guide my decision making.

Prudence is the habit of judging correctly, that which is the right way of acting to fulfil one’s duty.

I aim to do everything within my capabilities to make the right decisions. If in doubt, I will always seek counsel from those around me; my leaders, my family and friends and my colleagues.

Justice

I aspire to practice justice in all its forms.

I will live up to all obligations that I have in my life:

  • To my Faith and to my country
  • To my family and friends
  • To my employer and my colleagues

I am proud to live in compliance with not only the laws of my country and the rules laid out in my Catholic faith, but also with the rules laid out by my employer.

I associate the value of honesty with that of justice and I am always honest in all my dealings and to those around me.

Temperance

Temperance is the habit of self-control and moderation.

I allow the value of temperance to balance my emotions, including curiosity, ambition and anger.

The value of temperance also helps me to balance my work life, home life and recreation time.

Fortitude

Fortitude is the habit by which one courageously undertakes labours, faces dangers or when there is some worthy end to be attained.

I practice fortitude by demonstrating patience and resilience in my day to day work.

I believe strongly in my employer’s mission and goals and strive towards the end which my leaders, my colleagues and I collectively aim to attain.
